The Website is operated by SynoForge Labs (Private) Limited, a private limited company incorporated in Sri Lanka with its registered office at 8 Senanayake Avenue, Nawala, Colombo, Sri Lanka ("SynoForge", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read these terms carefully before using the Website.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by our handling of personal data as described in the section below on privacy and data protection. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Website.
If you use the Website on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation, and references to "you" include that organisation.

3. Permitted use of the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only, to learn about our services and to contact us about a possible engagement. You must use the Website in a way that does not harm us, our service providers, or other users.
When using the Website you agree that you will not do any of the following.
- Use the Website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, whether in Sri Lanka or in any other country where you access the Website.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to it.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
- Attack the Website by way of a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
- Use any automated system, such as a robot, scraper, or spider, to access, copy, or harvest content or data from the Website without our prior written permission.
- Submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful information through the contact form, or use it to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
- Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any part of the Website except as expressly permitted in these terms.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on the Website.
- Use the Website in any way that infringes the rights of any third party or that interferes with any other person's use of the Website.
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Website if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms. We may also report any breach to the relevant authorities and cooperate with them.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, the SynoForge name and brand, icons, images, layout, design, and the underlying code, is owned by SynoForge or licensed to us. This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in Sri Lanka and other countries.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission to view and use the Website for your own internal and non-commercial purposes, such as evaluating whether to engage us. This permission does not transfer any ownership to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, adapt, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the Website without our prior written consent, except where a temporary copy is made automatically by your browser in the ordinary course of viewing a page. The SynoForge name, logo, and brand are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission.
5. The contact form and enquiries
The Website includes a contact form so that you can send us an enquiry. When you submit the form you provide your name, your email address, your company name (optional), the type of project you have in mind, and your message.
Submitting an enquiry, receiving a reply, or receiving a quote or estimate from us does not create any binding contract between you and SynoForge, and does not oblige either party to proceed. Any quote or estimate is for discussion only and may change.
If we decide to work together, the engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. That agreement, and not these terms or anything said during enquiry, will set out the scope, fees, timelines, and other terms of the work.
Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the contact form. Until a written agreement is in place, you should treat any information you share as not subject to a duty of confidentiality on our part, although we will handle your personal data as described below and in our Privacy Policy.
6. No professional advice, accuracy, and availability
The content on the Website is provided for general information about SynoForge and our services. It is not professional, technical, legal, or commercial advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You should obtain specific advice before taking, or refraining from, any action based on the content of the Website.
We try to keep the information on the Website accurate and up to date, but we make no promise that it is complete, current, or free from error. Content may be changed or removed at any time without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available or uninterrupted. Access may be suspended, withdrawn, or restricted at any time, including for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable if the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
7. Links to other websites
The Website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not control those websites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy and security practices.
A link from the Website does not mean that we endorse the linked website or its operator. If you follow a link to a third-party website, you do so at your own risk and subject to that website's own terms and policies.
8. Privacy and data protection
We respect your privacy and we only collect the personal data we need to respond to you and to keep the Website secure. This section summarises what we collect, how we use it, who helps us process it, and the rights you have. Our Privacy Policy contains the full detail and takes precedence if there is any difference. We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for advertising.
What we collect. We collect personal data in two ways only. First, the information you give us through the contact form, which is your name, your email address, your company name if you choose to give it, the project type you select, and your message. Second, standard server and security logs generated by our hosting and anti-spam tools, which can include your IP address and basic technical request metadata such as the time of the request and your browser type.
What we do not use. We do not use analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or tracking pixels on the Website, and we do not build advertising profiles. If we enable an optional anti-spam challenge, it may set a single functional cookie only when it is active, and only to tell humans apart from automated abuse.
Why we use your data and the legal basis. We use your contact-form data to read and respond to your enquiry and to carry out reasonable business follow-up about it. We use server and security logs to operate the Website, to keep it secure, and to prevent abuse and spam. Where data protection law that follows the European model applies to you, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting the Website, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
How long we keep it. We keep contact-form submissions only for as long as we need them to respond and to carry out reasonable business follow-up, and we then delete them. Server and security logs are kept for a limited period in line with our providers' standard practices and our security needs, and are then deleted or anonymised.
9. Service providers and where data is processed
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the Website and handle enquiries. They act on our behalf and may process limited personal data only as needed to provide their service to us.
- Vercel, which hosts and serves the Website and processes server logs as part of delivering it.
- Resend, which delivers the emails generated by the contact form so that your enquiry reaches us.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, an optional anti-spam challenge that may run to protect the contact form and that may set a single functional cookie only if and when it is enabled.
International transfers. We are based in Sri Lanka, and some of these providers process data outside Sri Lanka, for example in the United States or the European Union. This means your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where this involves transfers from regions with European-style data protection laws, we rely on the safeguards and contractual protections that these providers make available, such as standard contractual clauses, so that your data continues to be protected.
10. Your data protection rights
Depending on where you are and the law that applies to you, you may have rights over the personal data we hold about you. These can include the rights set out below.
- The right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to get a copy of it.
- The right to ask us to correct personal data that is wrong or incomplete.
- The right to ask us to delete your personal data where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
- The right to ask us to restrict or to object to how we use your personal data.
- The right, where it applies, to receive your personal data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- The right to withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting processing that already took place.
- The right to complain to your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at hello@synoforge.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with the law that applies. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
11. Minors
The Website and our services are directed to businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.
If you believe that someone under 18 has given us personal data, please contact us at hello@synoforge.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, about the Website or its content.
In particular, we do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that the Website is free of viruses or other harmful components, or that the content is accurate, complete, or reliable. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SynoForge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Website and these terms, whether in contract, tort including negligence, or otherwise, will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). This limit reflects that the Website is a free marketing site through which no payment is taken.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that we suffer to the extent they arise directly from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of a third party in connection with your use of the Website.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent that the loss is caused by our own breach, negligence, or wilful misconduct. We will notify you of any claim covered by this indemnity and give you a reasonable opportunity to participate in handling it.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or the law. When we do, we will post the updated terms on the Website and change the effective date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Website after the updated terms take effect means that you accept the changes. Please check this page from time to time so that you are aware of the current terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Website, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
You agree that the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
17. How to contact us
